Bo Polny of Gold 2020 Forecast recently stopped by to chat with the Investing News Network about trends in gold and silver prices and what investors should be watching for going into 2016.
Polny is known for his price predictions for gold, silver and other commodities. In early December, he called a bottom for gold and silver prices when gold was sitting at around $1,045 per ounce. Gold has been on the upswing since then.
“We believe that’s the final, final bottom for gold,” he said. “Silver bottomed right around that time point as well. We believe from December, the low, it’s progressing upwards. It’s finishing out a channel right now. We’re about to have some pretty exciting moves on gold and silver.”
Polny also spoke more specifically about what changes he sees in the short term, the longer-term patterns he works with and how changes in long-term market cycles might affect other commodities such as oil.
