Silver Stone Resources Stock Jumps on News of African Gold Project Acquisition

Mining Weekly reported that Silver Stone Resources has announced that it intends to acquire gold and base metals projects in Africa, sending stock up 40 percent in Thursday trading.

As quoted in the market report:

Silver Stone has signed an implementation agreement to acquire 100% of the issued capital of unlisted OreCorp, which owns various interests in projects in Ethiopia and Mauritania.
