Lower-Grade Output Hurts Gold Miner Aurizon

The Financial Post reported that Aurizon Mines Ltd. (AMEX:AZK) reported lower earnings after extracting lower-grade ore from its mines.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Earnings were $6.2-million, or four cents a share, down from $9.9-million, or six cents a share (including $4.5 million in tax credits).
