Indonesia Landslide Slows Access to Freeport Mine

Forbes reported that a landslide in Indonesia has blocked a tunnel linking the Freeport copper-gold mine to a nearby village.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Freeport Indonesia spokesman Ramdani Sirait said Monday that production at the world’s largest gold and copper mine continues normally despite the landslide.
