Gold Set for Strong Performance on Federal Monetary Policy

Reuters reported that gold prices are moving towards their highest in eight weeks.

As quoted in the market news:

Spot gold was up 0.1 percent at $1,722.09 an ounce at GMT at 1201 GMT, while U.S. gold futures for February delivery were down $4.30 an ounce at $1,722.40.
