Gold Fields Eyeing Iamgold’s Shares in Ghana Mines

Reuters reported that Gold Fields (JNB:GFI) may be interested in purchasing a stake in Iamgold (NYSE:IAG).

The market news is quoted as saying:

Gold Fields — the No.2 producer in Africa with operations in Africa, South America and Australia — and Toronto-based Iamgold have stakes in Tarkwa and Damang mines in Ghana.
