Funding in Process for First Commercial Gold Mine in Liberia

Mining Weekly reported that Liberia’s first commercial gold mine is being financed by South African banks.

As quoted in the market news:

First gold production from New Liberty, which is situated 100 km north of the Liberian capital of Monrovia, is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2013.
