Mining Weekly reported that gold production from Australia was down 5% quarter-on-quarter.
As quoted in the market news:
Surbiton [Associates] said in its quarterly review that this was the third consecutive quarter that gold production had declined, with lower output attributed to a number of factors, including the effects of wet weather.
