Avion Increases Q1 Production 30%

Reuters reported that shares of Avion Gold (TSX:AVR) were up following the announcement that its Mali gold production was up 30% in Q1.

As quoted in the market news:

In the first quarter, Avion produced about 26,256 ounces from the Tabakoto and Segala projects, up from about 20,272 ounces produced in the same quarter last year.
