PDAC 2015 Watch List: Focus on the Nickel Space

The 2015 PDAC International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange is coming up in a few days, and with over 550 exhibitors attending, it will be tricky for investors to map out their time. With that in mind, Resource Investing News has assembled lists of key companies attending across a variety of sectors to help investors navigate.

Here’s a look at the nickel companies that will be at the show:

• Balmoral Resources (TSX:BAR) — Booth 3127 — Balmoral is a Canadian company that’s currently focused on gold and nickel-copper-PGM discoveries in Quebec and Ontario, mainly within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt.

• North American Nickel (TSXV:NAN) — Booth 2738 — The company is exploring and evaluating properties in Greenland and Sudbury, Ontario, while also seeking strategic partnerships.

• Sama Resources (TSXV:SME) — Booth 2623 — Sama is a growth-oriented resource company currently focused on further exploring its Samapleu nickel-copper project in Ivory Coast, West Africa and on developing the Lola project in Eastern Guinea.

• Royal Nickel (TSX:RNX) — Booth 2549 — Royal Nickel is developing its Dumont nickel project in Quebec, which it expects to rank as the fifth-largest nickel sulfide operation in the world once in production.

• Noront Resources (TSXV:NOT) — Booth 2631 — Noront’s Eagle’s Nest project is the largest high-grade nickel discovery in Canada since Voisey’s Bay and the most advanced project in the James Bay Lowlands of Northern Ontario, also known as the Ring of Fire.

Other attendees in the space include Avannaa Resources in Booth 2217A, First Nickel (TSX:FNI) in Booth 2417A, First Point Minerals (TSX:FPX,TSXV:FPX) in Booth 2223A, Inspiration Mining (TSX:ISM) in Booth 2628, Murchison Minerals (TSXV:MAM) in Booth 2111, Pure Nickel (TSXV:NIC) in Booth 2423A, Randsburg International Gold (TSXV:RGX) in Booth 2124, Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) in Booth 3113, Sphinx Resources (TSXV:SFX) in Booth 2717, Tau Capital (LSE:TAU) in Booth 2502 and Victory Nickel (TSX:NI) in Booth 3235.

Those interested in the nickel space should be sure to keep an eye out for those companies on the floor.

PDAC will be held from March 1 to 4, 2015 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
