Katanga prepares next expansion phase at DRC copper/cobalt ops

The market news is quoted as saying:
The phase-three expansion, approved in September 2009, will take production capacity at the company’s operations to 150 000 t/y of copper and 8 000 t/y of cobalt by the end of the second quarter.
The next step, for which the company is working on front-end engineering and early works, will be an increase to 310 000 t/y of copper and 30 000 t/y of cobalt by 2015.
