Copper Recovers Late After Berlusconi Resignation

Reuters reported that copper surged tracking a recovery in the euro versus the dollar, after the news of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s resignation broke out.

As quoted in the market news:

In New York, the key December COMEX contract shed 0.25 cent to settle at $3.5330 per lb, near the bottom of its $3.5055 to $3.59 session range. It ushed above $3.54 in after hours trade.
