Copper Price up 1 Percent

Reuters Africa reports that copper surged to a one-week high on Friday.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange CMCU3 closed up one percent at $9,050 a tonne from Thursday’s close of $8,960, snapping two days of losses.
