Israeli Diamond Portal.com reports that the mining sector is expected to expand annually by 8% all the way through 2015.

Botswana is currently one of the world’s leading producers of rough diamonds, and BMI predicts that diamonds will “remain the mainstay of Botswana mining production.” However, the group noted that a number of significant copper, uranium, and coal mining projects were under development.
