Red River Hits More High Grade at West 45
The company said its surface geotechnical drilling program has successfully defined the potential for an additional level (996) above the existing 976 level in West 45. Red River has received positive assay results from all holes.
Red River Resources (ASX:RVR) has released an update on the progress of drilling activities at the West 45 underground mine, part of the company’s Thalanga Operations in Northern Queensland.
The company said its surface geotechnical drilling program has successfully defined the potential for an additional level (996) above the existing 976 level in West 45. Red River has received positive assay results from all holes.
As highlighted in the press release:
- 5.44m at 0.5 percent copper, 3.1 percent lead, 6.1 percent zinc, 0.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 87 g/t silver (13.0 percent zinc equivalent) from 27.55m down hole in TH828; and
- 6.17m at 0.6 percent copper, 4.7 percent lead, 8.0 percent zinc, 0.3 g/t gold and 50 g/t silver (15.5 percent zinc equivalent) from 22.09m down hole in TH829
- Exceptional gold and silver mineralization intercepts continue at West 45. Notable results received include: 8.25m at 5.1 g/t gold and 512 g/t silver from 111.75m down hole including 0.32m at 120.8 g/t gold and 11,256 g/t silver (1.1 percent silver) from 113.90m down hole in TH808; and
- 9.21m at 0.6 g/t gold and 407 g/t silver from 18.84m down hole including 0.51m at 5.2 g/t gold and 3,935 g/t silver from 21.25m down hole in TH829
