5 Top NASDAQ Tech Stocks: Broadvision Top Gainer
Qumu, Support.com, ModSys International and ARI Network Services were also up this week.
Broadvision (NASDAQ:BVSN) saw the top growth last week, but there were other notable increases as well. Qumu (NASDAQ:QUMU), Support.com (NASDAQ:SPRT), ModSys International (NASDAQ:MDSY) and ARI Networks (NASDAQ:ARIS) rounded out the top five gainers this week on NASDAQ.
Broadvision, Inc.
BroadVision is a provider of social business solutions, including a framework for personalization and self-service, modular applications and agile toolsets that customers use to create e-commerce, portal solutions, and enterprise social networks (ESN). The company’s primary product offerings are software solutions. It also offers a toolkit, framework and library for extending its solutions.
On Thursday, Reuters reported that the company filed for a non-timely 10-K SEC filing. The company’s weekly gain of 11.68 percent added to the monthly increase of 27.41 percent.
Qumu
Qumu might be a familiar name to weekly readers of this feature, as it has made the list of top NASDAQ tech stocks before. Last week, the company saw 9.50-percent growth in its share price. This brings its monthly growth up to 15.83.
The company is focused on enterprise video content management software, and provides the tools businesses need to create, manage, secure, deliver and measure videos. Its enterprise video content management software products are deployed mainly through the sale of software licenses, software-on-a-server appliances, software-enabled devices and cloud-based software-as-a-service platforms. Recently, Share Trading reported that two analysts have given Qumu an “outperform” rating.
Support.com
Support.com, Inc. is a provider of cloud-based software and services that offer technology support. The company enables outsourced support services for service providers, retailers and technology companies. These are designed for both the consumer and small business markets, and include computer and mobile device set-up, security and support, virus and malware removal, wireless network set-up, and home security and automation system support.
On Tuesday, March 29th, Support.com insider Richard A. Bloom purchased 50,000 shares of the stock. The shares were acquired at an average price of $0.83 per share, placing total value at $41,500.00. Following this acquisition, Bloom now owns 15,000 shares in the company, valued at approximately $12,450. Overall, share prices went up 6.82 percent last week.
Support.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPRT) opened at 0.86 on Friday. The firm’s market cap is $47.12 million. The company’s 50-day moving average price is $0.81 and its 200-day moving average price is $1.02. Support.com, Inc. has a 1-year low of $0.70 and a 1-year high of $1.87.
ModSys International
ModSys International, formerly BluePhoenix Solutions, develops and markets enterprise legacy migration solutions and provides tools and professional services to international markets.
The company has been on a strong streak for the past couple of months, making this list several times. Last week, the company saw a share price gain of 6.67 percent; so far this month, its share price has grown by 5.66 percent.
ARI Network Services
Ari Network Services saw a 5.53 percent bump last week, adding to a 6.04 percent gain so far this month. The company specializes in software-as-a-service and data-as-a-service solutions that help equipment manufacturers, distributors and dealers in selected vertical markets. Like Qumu and ModSys International, API Network Services is a regular feature on this list.
