Gold Turns Higher but $1,700 Level Elusive

MarketWatch reported that fluctuation in the price of gold futures kept gold prices under $1700.

As quoted in the market news:

Gold for December delivery retreated 60 cents to trade at $1,695.30 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
