Gold Moves Towards Third Weekly Gain on Subdued Dollar

Reuters reported that gold was on track to post its third weekly gain, against a dollar restrained by uncertainty over the Fed meeting next week.

The dollar slipped broadly against a basket of major currencies, keeping a floor under bullion, after a Wall Street Journal report suggested the central bank will not be raising rates any time soon.
