Rockwood Holdings To Invest $140 Million in Chile Plant

NASDAQ reported that Rockwood Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:ROC) plans to invest $140 million in a lithium carbonate production plant in Chile.

As quoted in the market news:

The new investment, along with the company’s current $75 million expansion program in the United States, will increase total annual production capacity to 50 thousand metric tons of lithium carbonate equivalent by end of 2013.
