Wondering which lithium companies will be attending PDAC 2015? Here’s a quick round-up of those that will be at the conference this year.
The 2015 PDAC International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange is coming up soon, and with over 550 exhibitors slated to attend, it might be difficult for investors to keep track of everyone they’d like to see. To make things a little easier, Resource Investing News has put together lists of key companies across a variety of sectors that will be attending the conference.
Here’s a look at the lithium companies that will be at PDAC 2015:
- Western Lithium USA (TSX:WLC) — Booth 2630 — Western Lithium is currently developing its Kings Valley lithium deposit in Nevada, and is also aiming to be a supplier of a specialty drilling additive, Hectatone™ clay. The company kicked off 2015 with the first shipment of the material from its Organoclay plant in Nevada.
- Stria Lithium (TSXV:SRA) — Booth 2341 — Stria is focused on the development of proprietary, in-house processing technologies for recovering lithium metal directly from both ore and brines. The company also holds the Pontax spodumene property in Northern Quebec, as well as the Willcox brine property in Arizona, both at the exploration stage.
- Cobre Montana (ASX:CXB) — Booth 3144 — Taking an interesting approach to lithium recovery, Cobre Montana is targeting the recovery of battery-grade lithium carbonate from micas. The company has secured partnerships for the development of projects in the Czech Republic and in Western Australia to further this goal.
- Nemaska Lithium (TSXV:NMX,OTCQX:NMKEF) — Booth 2412B — In addition to developing its Whabouchi hard-rock spodumene lithium deposit in Quebec, the company has filed patents for its method of producing lithium hydroxide directly from spodumene ore. Nemaska recently received a $12.87-million grant for the development of the pilot plant for its proprietary process from Sustainable Development Technology Canada.
Those following critical metals will certainly be keeping an eye out for these companies on the floor at PDAC. For some recent commentary on the graphite, cobalt and lithium spaces, check out our interview with Simon Moores of Benchmark Mineral Intelligence from the recent 2015 Vancouver Resource Investment Conference.
PDAC will be held from March 1 to 4, 2015 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
