Daimler, Renault in Talks on EV Batteries: Source

Reuters reports that Daimler (ETR:DAI) and Renault (EPA:RNO) are planning for battery tie-up, wherein Renault will enter into Daimler’s Li-Tec battery joint venture with Evonik.

The press release is quoted as saying:

U.S. carmakers General Motors, Ford and Chrysler said in March they will jointly develop high-energy lithium-ion batteries with Samsung’s joint venture with Germany’s Robert Bosch
