Chilean Government Decides to Raise $350 Million for CEOL

Fox Business reported that over the next 20 years, the Chilean government has decided to raise $350 million through a tender process for a special lithium-production contract or CEOL.

As quoted in the market news:

The CEOL gives a company the right to explore and exploit up to 100,000 metric tons of lithium anywhere in the country except for some areas currently under mining concessions, said Mr. Wagner. So far, 54 companies have bought the document containing the terms to participate in the tender, he said.
