Geovic could reduce stake in Cameroon cobalt/nickel project

Mining Weekly reports that Geovic Mining (TSX:GMC,OTC:GVCME) may lower its ownership level in a cobalt/nickel/manganese project.

The editorial is quoted as saying,

Asian battery firms have expressed interest in a “strategic” investment in the project in combination with an off take agreement for future production from the mine, President Barbara Filas indicated, although any decision would also include the company’s partners on the asset.
