Mining Weekly reported that Orvana Minerals has withdrawn its wetland permit application for its Copperwood copper project, with the aim of granting decision makers more time to review.

As quoted in the market report:
The company said, in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the permit application would be resubmitted before the end of November, and the company held the expectation that it would receive a final decision before the end of January 2013.
