LME copper rises on data

Reuters Africa reports that Copper prices rose on Friday, with London nudging resistance at $9,500 a tonne.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Copper for delivery in three months was up 0.5 percent this week at $9,489.25 a metric ton as of 5:27 p.m. yesterday on the London Metal Exchange.
