Reuters reported that copper surged 2.1 percent to $7,610 per tonne on hopes that European Central Bank may be successful in resolving Eurozone’s debt crisis.

Reuters reported that copper surged 2.1 percent to $7,610 per tonne  on hopes that European Central Bank may be successful in resolving Eurozone’s debt crisis.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange jumped 2.1 percent to close at $7,610 per tonne after touching a session peak of $7,632, the highest since July 20. Copper dropped 1.1 percent in the previous session.
