The market news is quoted as saying:

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange CMCU3 traded at $9,027 a tonne at 1338 GMT from a close of $9,061 a tonne on Wednesday. The metal used in power and construction rose more than $260, or some 3 percent on Wednesday, its biggest rise since March 17, as part of a commodity-wide rebound.
