Reuters reports that a new plan released by the Brazilian government states that the country will more than triple it’s output of iron ore, copper and gold by 2030.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The document did not lay out specific requirements or
incentives for companies that add value to their products
before exporting them, but projects investments of around $170
billion in minerals transformation by 2030.
