The environmental approval is subject to the standard four week public review period which commences on 21 September 2018.
MOD Resources (ASX:MOD) has announced that the department of environmental affairs in Botswana has approved its environmental management plan for drilling within a ~700km2 area in the northern section of the T20 Dome complex, subject to the standard four week public review period which commences on 21 September 2018.
Managing director of MOD, Julian Hanna said:
“T4, within the T20 Dome complex, was the subject of much excitement back in 2016 when we intersected significant copper and silver mineralisation in initial drilling. T4 was eclipsed by the discovery of T3 in March 2016 and no drilling has been carried out since.
As with the recent A4 Dome discovery, we are utilizing EM modelling to gain an understanding of the potential of the area around T4 and T23 which has highlighted some very interesting features.”
