Identillect Technologies (TSXV:ID), a leading provider of email encryption service Delivery Trust announced that Worsham Law Firm has selected Delivery Trust to secure email communications.
The company said that the law firm seeks to meet and exceed the regulatory requirements to protect their client sensitive communications.
As quoted in the press release:
Identillect has continued to see growth with law firms through the Partnership with Arkansas Bar Association. The legal community has become more concerned about cyber security attacks across the United States and Identillect is here to serve them.
Worsham Law Firm is a well-respected firm in Little Rock, Arkansas practicing Family Law, Appellate Law, Civil Litigation, Probate, Personal Injury, and Criminal Defense, and is led by Richard E. Worsham, a member of the Supreme Court of the United States since 2005. Richard was also voted “Best of the Best” lawyers in Central Arkansas by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Worsham Law Firm has always put confidentiality as one of the most important items when representing its clients.
Identillect partnered with the Arkansas Bar Association to ensure the integrity of digital communication to its members. This partnership has come with Identillect providing increased education and awareness around cyber-security and the simplest way to implement secure communication for the Bar Members. Richard Worsham managing partner at Worsham Law Firm states, “I attended the annual association meeting and was able to join Todd Sexton’s lecture, it was both informative and eye-opening as to the dangers everyone is exposed to when communicating digitally. When representing our clients, we place their confidentiality high on the priority list and therefore are pleased to deploy Delivery Trust throughout our practice to protect client data.”
Identillect CEO Todd Sexton states, “The legal community in Arkansas is increasing the standard at which law firms should protect electronic client communications. Identillect is currently in negotiations with nine other Bar associations across the United States with the goal of duplicating the success we have seen with Arkansas. Identillect is proud to be serving a well-respected firms like Worsham Law Firm and pleased to assist in advancing their client security measures.”
The cyber security market is one of the fastest growing markets in technology. Breaches involving accidental email/internet exposure of information were the second most common type of breach incident reported by the Identity Theft Center. Global spending will cumulatively exceed $1 trillion dollars over the next 5 years, with cyber security damages predicted to reach $6 trillion globally by 2021 reported by CSO online. The need for advanced cyber security tools to prevent data breaches will only continue to increase with an estimated 4 billion individuals online requiring security by 2020.
