BIO-Key International (NASDAQ:BKYI) announced on Thursday that the Singapore Police Force has selected the company’s biometric hardware and software solutions for enhanced security of its systems.
The company focused on providing barometric authentication and security solutions said that its products would be used by Singapore Police Force for securing their online access to critical information.
As quoted in the press release:
BIO-key’s ID Director for Windows integrates directly with Active Directory, the organization’s credential management program, adding a layer of biometric authentication. Users will enroll their fingerprints into the platform using EcoID, a compact fingerprint scanner that’s been tested and qualified by Microsoft.
“It’s an honor to have BIO-key hardware and software recognized by a prominent international law enforcement agency as they understand the value of strong security,” stated Mike DePasquale, Chairman & CEO, BIO-key. “Projects like this, with highly visible customers around the globe demonstrate the strength of the BIO-key brand and the growing adoption of our technology. We look forward to supporting the Singapore Police Force’s efforts as they expand the use of our technology to their 38,500 members to increase security and protect the organization and citizens.”
BIO-key is revolutionizing authentication with biometric solutions that enable convenient and secure access to information and high-stakes transactions.
