Send us your drill program pictures!
It’s summertime, which is a fairly quiet time for the markets. But while investors sell in May and go away, we know that resource companies are hard at work on their projects.
For instance, Forum Uranium (TSXV:FDC) submitted a photo of a barge on its way to to the Northwest Athabasca joint venture.
Forum announced the start of a drill program at the Northwest Athabasca joint venture on March 24, 2014; it will encompass 3,000 meters of drilling. The program will follow up on results from the previous winter program, which returned 39.5 meters of 0.15-percent U3O8, including a 0.5-meter interval grading 1.8-percent U3O8. The project is a joint venture with NexGen Energy (TSXV:NXE) and Forum is the operator.
Northwest Athabasca is Forum’s second drilling campaign this season. The company is also focusing on moving ahead with its wholly owned Clearwater project, located on trend and immediately adjacent to the southwest of Fission Uranium’s (TSXV:FCU) Patterson Lake South discovery.
Recently, Forum’s CEO, Rick Mazur, updated the Investing News Network on the state of the company’s drill-ready projects in the Athabasca Basin.
