Village May Pay R150m in Shares for DRD’s Blyvoor Gold Mine

Mining Weekly reported that Village Main Gold Reef Mining (JSE:VIL) may purchase DRDGold’s (JSE:DRD) Blyvooruitzicht gold mine.

As quoted in the market news:

JSE-listed Village has expressed a nonbinding interest in paying R150-million for DRDGold’s 74% holding in Blyvoor, which DRDGold has accepted. A break-fee agreement grants Village the exclusive 60-day right to acquire the DRDGold interest in Blyvoor, which has been part of a business rescue process.
