Knick Exploration (TSXV:KNX) is pleased to announce the recently determined mineralized down hole widths greater than 0.1 grams per tonne of gold on the Cossette structural system.
Knick Exploration (TSXV:KNX) is pleased to announce the recently determined mineralized down hole widths greater than 0.1 grams per tonne of gold on the Cossette structural system. The results are from the ongoing evaluation of the 2017 and 2011 drilling campaign data on its Trecesson Property. The Cossette gold system has been traced by core drilling in two areas for an overall combined strike length of 495 meters. The areas are separated by a gap of 365 meters of prospective ground. The gold system is open along strike and at depth.
The Trecesson property is situated in the Amos-Val d’Or Mining Camp, Quebec. It is located approximately 80 kilometers north of the city of Val d’Or and 10 kilometers northwest of the city of Amos.
The tabled results of down hole widths greater than 0.1 gram per tonne gold are available by clicking on this link. True widths are estimated to be 20% less than down hole widths. The tabled diamond drill hole number (DDH No.) includes the year drill as follows: TR-11 series were drilled in 2011 and TR-17 series were drilled in 2017.
Sample numbers with values greater than one gram per tonne have been previously reported including all 33 samples with visible gold (VG). The company is reviewing all historical data and previous drilling of the Trecesson property.
Samples were sent to Expert Laboratory in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec for analysis.
Fire assay and metallic sieve methods are being implemented for analysis as deemed warranted.
