S&P Maintains AngloGold Ashanti’s BBB Rating

Mining Weekly reported that AngloGold Ashanti had announced that Standard & Poor had maintained their BBB investment grade rating.

As quoted in the market report:

We’ve taken strong, decisive action to maintain our investment-grade rating and preserve our financial stability and flexibility, and at the same time our strategy to improve the quality and diversity of our portfolio remains firmly on track,” CEO Mark Cutifanisaid.
