Gold Steady on Euro Increases

Reuters reported that gold prices consolidated as the Greek debt situation boosted the euro.

As quoted in the market news:

Spot gold was at $1,745.70 an ounce at 1523 GMT, little changed from $1,744.90 an ounce late in New York on Tuesday. U.S. gold futures for February delivery were down $3.50 an ounce at $1,742.90.
