Gold Should Gain on Investor Demand

Bloomberg reported that gold is expected to rise on lower confidence that the European debt crisis will be resolved soon.

As quoted in the market news:

Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.5 percent to $1,677.10 at 9:56 a.m. on the Comex in New York. Before today, the commodity gained 17 percent this year.
