Gold Rallies as Markets Seek Safety Before Weekend

Marketwatch reported that demand for an investment haven pushed gold to a rally today.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Gold for December delivery GC1Z +1.88%  added $33.30, or 1.9%, to $1,814.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, close to session highs. The contract traded as low as $1,765.40 an ounce and as high as $1,825 an ounce.
