You quote Des Kilalea as saying diamond exploration is not something to be taken on by junior explorers, best left to the majors. Who are these majors? I see little to no exploration initiative by De Beers, Alrosa, BHP, Rio, even Petra, Gem. Only the juniors have the drive, expertise, personnel and willingness to take on risk. We'd best fund them or there will be no new diamond discoveries and production.
