Gold Breaks $1,600/oz Barrier, Expected to go Higher

Platts reported that analysts expect gold to rise event further above $1600 per ounce.

The market news is quoted as saying:

“Volumes are quite light, the market is not particularly busy,” one trader told Platts. “I am guessing gold will track higher. It may well be that $1,600 is a psychological level.”
