Molycorp Rises to Profit on Sales Volume, Prices

Reuters Africa reported that increased prices and sales volume pushed Molycorp (NYSE:MCP) to a profit in second quarter 2011.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The average realized sales price rose to $72.10 per kilogram of rare earth oxide (REO) equivalent, compared with $7.16 per kilogram in the year-ago quarter.
