Proposed Plant to Progress

Latrobe Valley Express reported that Latrobe Magnesium (ASX:LMG) sees its Australian magnesium plant beginning operations in mid-2013.

As quoted in the market news:

Plans are currently for an “initial demonstration plant” which would produce 10,000 tonnes of magnesium per annum, but [company director David] Paterson said if this proved successful, it would be scaled up to a production of 40,000 tonnes per annum.
