Mining Weekly reported that a maiden manganese resource of 13.9 million tons at 24.6 percent manganese has been announced at Segue Resources Ltd.’s (ASX:SEG) South African project.
As quoted in the Market News:
The resource estimate was based on 62 reverse circulation and nine diamond drill holes across the Northern, Central, Southern and Hills areas.
The explorer said on Tuesday that the majority of the resource was within 50 m of the surface, and it was likely that the resource would be amenable to openpit mining, with almost no prestrip required.
