MOIL Expanding Manganese Mining Capacity

Mining Weekly reported that MOIL (BSE:533286) said it is planning for twice the manganese mining capacity at its Balaghat mine.

As quoted in the market news:

MOIL would be implementing a project to sink a high-speed vertical shaft at the Balaghat mine that would enable it to increase ore extraction from 400 000 t/y to 800 000 t/y, a company official said.
