Chile Plans to Auction Lithium Mining Contracts

Reuters reported that Chile has decided to auction contracts to companies for the right to drill and produce lithium.

As quoted in the market news:

Development of lithium, of which Chile holds a quarter of world reserves, has been stunted by a constitutional ban on concessions, according to Chilean daily La Tercera.
