North American Nickel today (May 9) released details of its 2018 exploration and drill program at its Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum group metals project in Southwest Greenland.

North American Nickel (TSXV:NAN) today (May 9) released details of its 2018 exploration and drill program at its Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum group metals project in Southwest Greenland.

According to todays press release the 2018 work program will focus on the advancement of the Maniitsoq project with surface electromagnetic surveys, targeted diamond drilling and mapping, prospecting, sampling, structural geological studies and 3D modelling.

As quoted in the press release, chief executive officer of North American Nickel (NAN), Kieth Morrison said:

“NAN’s positioning with a potential camp-size nickel project and one of the globe’s largest lithium-ion battery manufactures as a strategic partner, sets us apart from other nickel-sulphide explorers.  Our 2018 program at Maniitsoq will include up to 12,500m of drilling at nickel sulfide targets that integrate the results from our previous years of work with the new and important understanding of the geochemical control of our mineralization.”
