Reuters Africa reported nickel prices fell to their lowest level in nearly two years on Wednesday, tracking a slide in base metals.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month nickel on the London Metal Exchange (LME) fell to a session low at $16,680 a tonne, its lowest since mid December, 2009. It closed at $17,050 a tonne on Tuesday.
