Reuters reported that copper fell to a one-month low on Monday on the LME, driven by fears over the Chinese economy and expected drop in demand.
As quoted in the market report:
Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) fell 0.4 percent to close at $8,094.50 a tonne in the second session of losses after touching a low of $8,050, the weakest since Sept. 13. Volumes were thin with traders distracted by LME Week, the annual gathering of the industry in London.
