MPV Exploration Intersects 9.1 m of Massive Sulfides on its UMEX Property

The drilling program aimed to confirm historical grades at the property in Quebec.

MPV Explorations (CSE: MPV) has announced the results of its first diamond drilling campaign on its UMEX property in northern Quebec, completed in June 2018.

According to MPV, the drilling program aimed to confirm the historical grades in copper-zinc-gold-silver obtained by Union Minière Exploration in 1969 and SOQUEM at the beginning of the 70’s.

As highlighted in the press release:

  • UMX-18-07: 9.10 meters at 2.20 percent copper; 4.05 percent zinc; 1.74 grams per tonne (g/t) gold; 62.41 g/t silver
  • UMX-18-06 : 4.75 meters at 1.93 percent copper; 3,93 percent zinc; 0.97 g/t gold; 47.67 g/t silver
  • UMX-18-09 : 4.55 meters at 1.02 percent copper; 1.19 percent zinc; 0.5 g/t gold; 18.09 g/t silver
