Mine Construction to Continue Despite DRC Unrest: Group Five

Bloomberg reported that Group Five (a South African construction company) has said that the ongoing unrest in the Congo will not disrupt their gold, copper and cobalt mine construction near the southern city of Lubumbashi.

As quoted in the market report:

We have operated in dangerous places before,” Group Five Chief Executive Officer Mike Upton said at a media briefing in Johannesburg today. “We have no issues from the DRC at the moment
